CROW
Charcot Restraint Orthotic Walker
Charcot Neuroarthropathy with or without ulceration. Offloads and stabilizes the Charcot process while allowing weight bearing. Multi-density removable footbed for wound management. Weight-bearing mold or scan required.
SAFO
Solid Ankle Foot Orthosis
DJD / Ankle OA, tibial stress fractures post-arthrodesis, AVN of the talus, Achilles rupture, Charcot osteoarthropathy, severe osteopenia, equinovarus deformities, end-stage PTTD, foot drop, CVA.
SAAFO
Short Articulating AFO
PTTD, tarsal coalition, tarsal tunnel syndrome, accessory navicular, talar/navicular stress fractures, Lisfranc fracture-dislocation, chronic ankle instability, CMT varus, Charcot midtarsal/Lisfranc deformities.
SSAFO
Short Solid Ankle AFO
PTTD requiring dorsiflexion resistance, sub-fibular pain, hindfoot valgus. Eliminates gauntlet bracing. Best option for chronic Achilles tendinopathy or compromised repairs. Open-heel construction eliminates retrocalcaneal pressure.
SDAFO
Short Dorsiflexion Assist AFO
Drop foot, anterior tibial tendinitis/repair/rupture, MS, Charcot Marie Tooth, idiopathic peripheral neuropathy, ALS. Low-profile design for easiest donning of any drop-foot brace. Not recommended with spasticity.
All custom AFO designs include trilaminate soft interfaces, full-length foot plate, and apertures/reliefs as indicated. Additional device types available — contact Roger to discuss your specific case.
